If some show needs good remake then its this one

Hire new actors, good writers and leave the main premise. About traveling to different universes and meet yourselves or different reality and alternative history.

I mean they could even give original actors supporting roles and make new characters bumping into them occasionally. By simply putting them in San Francisco. That way they could meet older versions on original characters. They could even revisit old storylines. That would be super cool.

I´d like to see the original cast bring closure to the series, bring them back for a season or two of adventures and get them home. Casting for new characters would have to be politically correct these days, so you just know it would be terrible anyway. The idea of casting the original actors as smaller characters would not work, since I believe they would expect to be paid quite well for coming back.

Well its not like original cast is doing something major these days. Wade and Rembrandt actors are long time in Has-Beens lists.

Sabrina Lloyd retired from acting and lives in Africa. Cleavant Derricks has been playing the Wizard of Oz in the broadway musical "Wicked" for the last 4 years, that´s not exactly "has-been" status.

Any updates on a reboot for this series? Would the original cast all come back?

I’d rather have the original cast return, at least for 1-2 seasons, then redo the show with new characters or new actors.
