Another horrible character. It seems that just as I've accepted that Maggie Becket wasn't going away they saddle season five with another equally obnoxious character. Truly, the first two and a half seasons was the only Sliders worth watching.

What was wrong with Diana? They needed somebody to be the resident scientist and she had a touch of the professor about her (always making sure people knew she was a doctor). They couldn't just replicate another character (that was the initial goal of creating Mallory) and I was glad they didn't return to female in fighting that defined Wade and Maggie's relationship.
I warmed up to her by the end of season five. Shame they didn't go forward with a sixth season.
