Seasons 1 and 2 are the best.

Season 3 had some good episodes (especially post-arturo) but all the other episodes were the worst they could make. (Btw, I loved JRD and his character, it's the stories that I had problem with)

Season 4, in my opinion, of course, was awesome. Just a little bit worse than 1+2. And I like Maggie much more than Wade. Also Colin was pretty cool.

Season 5, I didn't even finish it, I just couldn't.

Season 4 is easily my favourite. It was the season where I started watching every week and loving it. Previous to that I'd sampled the show a few times, and never been impressed. But season 4 was superb from the get-go and I stuck with it.

I later caught season 2 in re-runs and thoroughly enjoyed it. Season 1 I saw for the fist time about three years ago and it's okay. The show is not fully formed yet, but there are good moments.

I've seen bits of 3 and 5 over the years (and the last episode is superb, without doubt) but I tend to think of these seasons as weaker ones.

OK I loved season 1 and 2. Loved them to bits.

Seasons 3 to 5 however just stank mostly. One or two good episodes here and there but really they for the most part stank..... they should have wrapped up the show in season 2........

4 & 5 were huge step downs... I often debate whether show should have ended far earlier

2, 1, 3, 5, 4

2 is best season because show hit its stride
1 is ok but we all know they had some major issues
3 was poor because of all the changes that started
5 did indeed inject new life into franchise but it was too far gone by this point
4 was very forgettable

Season 1 and 2
Season 3 or the miniseries as I call it because they all sadly die when the pulsar hits that Earth.... I discarded the rest of the show as bad fan fiction

Why oh why did they bail from the alternate history/ social commentary plot lines to go with movie rip off/whatever crap the manatees came up with.

Season 1 & 2 is definitely the best. The overall plot for our characters are to get back to prime earth. Almost every episode offer some interesting, counterfactual history, on how the world would look like today if that or that was happened in stead. It was really interesting to se how for example the world would look like, if USA still was a part of GB, or if the historical gender roles was switched around.

Season 4: I actually like this more than season 3. Season 3 have the same concept as season 1 and 2, but now the episodes are just stupid, and rip-off from different movies (Nightmare on Elm Street, and such). Season 4 episodes are just as stupid as season 3, and some of the episodes are superfluous, but season 4 now offer a new plot, the Kromaggs. This gives the show an extra dimension.

Season 3: As said, stupid episodes, with lame settings, that don't makes sense.

Season 5: Well, I've actually never seen an episode from here. A bit of episode 1 only. But as far I have understand, I don't lose anything by not watching this season. Maybe the show should be considered over after season 2?


I would like to see a remake of Sliders, but ONLY with the true spirit from the first two seasons, and without the dull and stupid parts from season 3-5.

The second half of season 3 is unwatchable, and I saw the 1st episode in season 5 and that was it for me, no thanks.
