The show died after Exodus Part 1 & 2 in Season 3
Sliders was one of my favorite shows as a kid.
When Arturo was killed, the show started a downhill slide and never came back.

Loved that show, but yes there was a little of this & that. Just kept rolling down hill.
shareAgreed
shareI've gotten to Season 5, and it looks like a completely new show. I just let it run in the background on Netflix while I do other things.
shareYes it did. I'm watching the series for the second time and have pretty much decided to not go past these two episodes.
All they had to do was have our four beloved characters go to alternative Earth after alternative Earth and keep them alive no matter how hairy of a situation they had gotten into. It was a simple and effective formula for a great television show and the show runners dropped the ball.

Arturo is my favourite character and I think it was a mistake they killed him off. I think the original four are the best though I've no problem with Maggie, Colin, Mallory, or Diana. Considering some shows go for 10 or 11 seasons Sliders is pretty short at just five. I've come across I like that only ran for a few seasons such as Seven Days and Big Wolf on Campus and then others shows I'm not into that run for much longer. Some of these soaps have been going for decades though I've no interest in them.
Sliders changed a lot over the seasons because of cast changes.
Well, they also tried to explain away why they still had "Quinn" on their team but in a different body/actor. And now they call him Mallory instead of using Quinn or Q-Ball as Remmy says it.
shareThat's unfortunate. That's what I'm up to. Just finished the exodus episodes. So I guess I don't have much to look forward to is what you're saying
