The producers wanted to bring in someone with more sex appeal and a street wise feel to them. So Robert Townsend hired Tyrone Burton for the role of TK. Robert had seen Tyrone in this low budget movie called "Squeeze". That movie rans on BET from time to time.

shareNot too much that I know of. Tyrone Burton who played TK on the last two seasons of the show. He is in a play that is running in LA right now. Tyrone also recently guest starred on The Disney Channel's "That's So Raven". He also guest starred on the CBS show "Cold Case". He's also in this low budget movie called "Turntable", which is currently playing at film festivals around the country. The movie should be coming to DVD within a year or so. Tyrone is trying to keep himself busy with acting these days.
