I liked watchin' this show. It use 2 run on Chicago's WGN then they took it off & last I saw it was on TBS. If it still comes on there it probably is 1 hour early (central time). Neways nice show 4 it's running time.

they just disappeared, like all popular black shows do once they made a certain number of episodes or get into syndication. that's bull for real

The very last episode they taped. Was the one where Geri and Robert renewed their wedding vows. They ended it where all the cast members danced down a soul train like line. Robert Townsend wanted to end the show, so he could move onto other things. And The WB moved "7th Heaven" into the shows time slot on Sunday nights at 7pm. Their was no chance for "The Parent 'Hood" to return to the network after that move. It was on it's way to rerun heaven.
shareThat last episode was the worst one they ever did IMO. It was flat and dry and most of the actors couldn't dance. In the last show they should've at least mentioned Wendell and Michael.

TBS does have the show in the worst time period. They show it at 4:30am and 5:00am in the morning! And it's not even on everyday. Just acouple days aweek. But TBS has exculsive rights to "The Parent Hood". That's why you don't see it on anyother station. Don't know how long that contract is with TBS. But when it ends, maybe BET or TVOne will pick up the show. But don't look for that to happen. The TBS reruns maybe the last we see of "The Parent Hood" for years to come. So tape as many episodes as you can, while you can.
