Entourage connection...

The character of Johnny Drama on HBO's show "Entourage" (which I ADORE!), mentions that he was on "Pacific Blue" and how he's getting syndication checks. Anybody know anything else about it? Is his character actually based on someone who was on the show? Maybe I should post this on the "Entourage" board too.

I guess we can only hope that by the show being mentioned, people will get interested, and maybe we could get a dvd release.

As far as I know it was totally made up. The joke worked well with Pacific Blue because Drama would just tell people he did episodes of "Blue", but everyone thought he was talking about NYPD Blue. I really don't think that Drama's involvement with Pacific Blue is supposed to be a compliment to the show. Good to see a fellow Entourage fan around here.

I loved this show! It's basically Baywatch but with Biker Cops with much more plot than Baywatch. As well as more likable characters.Plus Paula Trickey is a goddess.

Jack Sparrow(AWE):And that was without a single drop of rum!

There actually is a real life Johnny Drama, who is well known in Hollywood. But the story is supposed to be basically about Mark Wahlberg (at least selected parts), so I think Johnny Drama is a merger between the real Johnny Drama and Donnie Wahlberg. As for the connection to this show, I think they just picked it as a joke because the name worked out and it's not exactly a prestigous show.
