IIRC, Cory was preggers, but didn't know if her boyfriend or T.C. was the father. Then in the final episode she got the results of the paternity test and saw who the father was, but we the audience didn't know.
I'm assuming this show was to continue on after that last ep, as why end the series on a cliff-hanger? Anybody know?
I really wish I knew. I just finished watching the entire series on DVD (Well, a lot of it, as I had already watched reruns on Reelz when it was shown on that channel), and it didn't feel like an ending to a series. Plus, I wonder if had the show continued, if Palermo would have returned at all. I mean we had closure with Victor and as for Chris, I am sure the saga with her and TC was not over.
I also really would have loved to have seen one more episode with Jessup and hopefully she would have fallen for being such a crooked IA cop.

There was no end because it all depended if USA decided to renew it or not. If they did then of course they would have kept writing and filming. The season finale just wasnt strong enough to warrant continuation. And USA never granted a mini movie (or whatever) to give the viewers closure.
shareSuch a pity because by that time, the show went on a different direction and it lost many viewers along the way. Which was also the reason why it was canned after 5 seasons. Apparently there was recently talk of the show making a comeback, this came from fellow cast member Paula Trickey (Cory) via Instagram. She's willing to come back, not sure abt the rest of the cast though. But sadly according to her, the talk for the comeback has gone silent.
