Females on this show SO much funnier and talented than those on SNL

Aren't they? The ones on SNL make me cringe and upchuck in disgust. They are SO annoyingly unfunny

If you look through the history of the show, it contains MOST of the very funniest comedic actresses there have been over that time. It's been an amazing run.

I have liked none of the female SNL cast members with the exceptions of Molly Shannon and Tina Fey. In fairness, the poor writing on that show, combined with its absurd insistence that the weekly guest appear in every single damn skit, really hold it back. Then again, Mad TV has had its own bad writing issues for the last decade or so, and still I see beyond that and see the talent of many of the females in its cast.

I'm not going to argue which show had funnier actresses, because that's all relative. I like some of the actresses from SNL, and I found some annoying. But if I were to make a list of the most annoying women of the history of sketch comedy, my top 5 would be.

1. Alex Borstein - MADtv
2 Victoria Jackson - SNL
3. Mo Collins - MADtv
4. Kerri Kenny - The State
5. Sarah Silverman - SNL/Mr. Show w/Bob and David

I thought Mo did some really funny stuff, but it was overshadowed by the endless stream of crap coming out of Lorraine and Stuart sketches that the first thing that comes to mind when I think of her are those annoying performances. And Sarah Silverman wasn't too annoying on SNL/Mr. Show as she didn't play very big parts, but I find her so annoying now that I put her on the list anyway. Here would be my 5 funniest, female sketch performers.

1. Jill Talley - Mr. Show w/Bob and David
2. Maya Rudolph - SNL
3. Stephnie Weir - MADtv
4. Andrea Martin - SCTV
5. Jan Hooks - SNL

Oh my. I can't STAND Maya Rudolph as a sketch performer. She fails to make me laugh every time.

I have to say that she was actually the only part I liked about Idiocracy. I think she's a good actress probably. But I think she should stick to movies. She's too good of an actress for sketches, or something.
