Which seasons do you like best?
Which seasons of the show do you like the best?
share1-6 are the greatest. Seasons 8,9 and 13 are the worst. The other ones are really good, but not amazing.

I just posted this elsewhere so I'm kind of just copy/pasting this and just adding on.
I really loved season 1, and I remember 2 and 3 being exceptionally good as well from when I was a kid.
I used to remember being like 7 or 8 when madtv began and I used to try and stay up late so I could watch it with my parents. I am such a big fan of Dave Herman and Bryan Callen and the rest of the cast from the first couple of season's. Although I read somewhere that Herman didn't like working on madtv and preferred his (sporadic) work on King of the Hill later in his career... his work, along with the rest of season 1's cast was amazing.
I also loved the pop culture references in the first couple of seasons as opposed to them now. I remember how big The Smashing Pumpkins, Jim Carrey, OJ Simpson, and Pauly Shore were during the 95 season era and how much fun it was when they would rip on those guys or bring them up in sketches. Maybe it's because I grew up in those years but regardless, it's was a lot funnier than the later seasons.
I really loved the 'Ink Blot' sketch and the 'OJ Bloopers' sketch from season 1. Also, 'My white momma' was pretty funny. I would pay plenty of cash to own Season 2 and 3 on dvd.

Agreed. I was 19 in 95 but I remember watching the first season or two thinking this might finally be what takes SNL off the air. I loved the first two or three seasons but the longer it went on, the less funny I thought the newer cast members were. I liked Aries Spears and Will Sasso but after awhile (probably around season 4 or 5, the quality started to go downhill). I like Alex Borstein but absolutely hated the Asian women who said "He look like a man." I would turn the channel whenever she did one of those skits, I hated it so much!!!

If I had to rank the seasons Id probably say:
1. Season 5 (this was when the show was at it's sharpest)
2. Season 4
3. Season 3
4. Season 6
5. Season 2
6. Season 12 (the show made a bit of a comeback in the later parts of it's life)
7. Season 11
8. Season 1
9. Season 10
10. Season 7
11. Season 8 (at this point the show was hit and miss, very funny at times but lame at others)
12. Season 9
13. Season 14
14. Season 13 (the last 2 years were almost unwatchable, they changed the show too much)
