Any good articles on the behind the scenes? Who ran the show?

SNL has books, articles all the time on SNL behind the scenes. There was so little focus on Mad TV ever in the media. It was a far inferior show, in my opinion, but I was still a little fascinated on how all these actors who likely audiitoned for SNL and got rejected were making due on this b-level show. Besides, it's still sketch comedy.

Also, who ran the show. The credits don't really indicate much (Quincy Jones was a producer?). Who waws like the Lorne Michaels equivalent.

That's a good question because I loved MAD TV and even thought it was funnier than SNL, and I'm also a fan of behind-the-scenes stories. I'm not sure if any MAD TV cast member has even written a book about their time on the show, but I could be wrong.

Artie Lange talks a bit about his time there, in Too Fat to Fish. Mostly about him being a druggy and how it affected his relationships with people there.
