White Trash SNL
SNl for the less educated and people with more concerned with slapstick and ugly people then smart sketches.

shareAgree, and the laugh track doesn't help things at all. The people in the audience are like wooting or expressing shock more than laughing.

It's been quite a while since SNL has had any kind of smart sketches.

Vancome Lady must have hit a nerve..
shareYes and no. I've always thought MADtv did better with laugh out loud, sometimes stupid comedy that was the greatest thing about the '90s. SNL was more old guard with more "craft" and a significantly bigger budget, but it never made me laugh as hard as the best Stuart, Lorraine or Vancome Lady sketches.
They don't call me Col. Homer cause I'm some dumbass army guy!share
In my opinion MADtv has world wide appeal, I am Australian and since I was in my early teens I have always laughed at MADtv, where as SNL, anything after 1998-99 I can't laugh at and I like to think I can laugh at anything, dry or slap stick.
Glad MAdTV is back, finished the first ep and thought it was great. I am not even going to compare it to a decade worth of MadTV history, its not fair to the newbies, they literally have 40 mins vs 1000 of hours we watched of the old MADtv. I am going to give them a chance, instead of being a imdb forum debbie downer ;)
I don't let them tell me what to do (looks at dolls) I don't ..let them tell me.. what to do!
I'll be the chocolate AND vanilla guy.
I've always liked both SNL and MADtv, and both shows have been hit-and-miss with sketches.
There's a time and place for "both" styles of comedy.
You couldn't be more wrong. SNL hasn't been funny r smart in decades because they preach rather than try to be funny. Mad TV was about jokes.
