What did watching 'Hercules: the legendary journeys' teach you?

When I was growing up watching Hercules taught me a lot about life - i.e., compassion, justice, understanding and maturity. It also taught me to value the time I have with my family, friends and acquaintances; to embrace everything life has to offer with ease. Lastly, it taught me lessons subconsciously then and only now by watching the episodes again am I able to understand them thoroughly since I last watched them in the 1990s.

This series was the greatest of them all -- i.e., Young Hercules and Xena. It wasn't as cheesy as Young Hercules nor as complicated as Xena.

What I learn from Hercules, always look for the good in people, compassion, friendship, never have sex with someone you don't care for, forgiveness, learn to love.

it's better to love and lose to love than not to love at all

I guess it taught me that a humble person is a winner, all the arrogants in the show eventually became nicer, most of them. A certain episode, hero's heart, showed that you mustn't be greedy and you must deal with your problems without running. If I had a hammer, taught that you must not change for anyone. And many more..

To always appreciate the people I love because they could be gone at any moment. To be brave in the face of adversity and never give in to bullies and cowards.
