Would Hercules kill someone?

Would Hercules actively trying to kill to save someone he loves?
I cant decide if he would do it.
Like he has to cut someone villagers head to save his mother ie.
Yes. He killed Zeus after all. If he's willing to kill his own father to save an innocent (hope he never found out what Eve grew up to be), then no one else should be a problem.
