For some reason, I have it in my head that Game On was the first ever sitcom to feature swearing. Is this true? Or did The Young Ones have swearing? Quite a long time before, I know.

The Young Ones never used any of the worst words like those of the F or C variety, but they did use any word beginning with B and occasionally a W.
