Bread and butter

One of the greatest sitcoms of all time, i was at an age where i could appreciate it, ie early 20's. The first season that is with Ben Chaplin.

Does anyone remember that song he sung...."you ask me how i feel, when i am feeling ill, i ask you here my stutter, i want my bread and butter......"

I still think of that now about 12 years after i first saw it...

Christ, i am bored

You ask me how i feel,
when it's months & months since i last had a hot meal,
and they cut me off cos i couldn't pay the bill,
and now i'm ill (i'm ill man)!

My band may have to cover this one.
