I love this series. It's just about perfect to me, from the characters to the writing. It's so sad Dermott Morgan died way too young.

He was under doctor's care. He was taking all sorts of medication for high blood pressure and anxiety. Whether it was known he also had a heart problem or that was a result of the BP I don't know. It was a great shame he died at such a young age, at the height of his popularity. He was a very talented man.

I wish Steve Coogan had been on the show. Would have liked to see them interact with each other.

He was an amazing actor and man. Steve Coogan wouldn't have worked. Chiefly because the whole cast was Irish, even down to most of the smaller roles.
