Very sad news. Just two of the four remain. Loved Father Jack - feck, drink, gerls.

In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer

RIP. Just watched the episode Flight into Terror where Jack takes the two parachutes: one for himself and one for the drinks trolley. Classic Jack.

@PoppyTransfusion Are you ticking them off a list?

RIP. Father Ted is on TV right now. Channel More4 has changed its schedule and is showing Father Ted episodes all night. Classic comedy at its best!

I think it's fantastic that in the article there are several photos of cast and writers of the show before the president of Ireland. Just goes to prove that television is better than politics.

When I heard he died all I could think of was the episode when it's spring and Father Jack transforms into a kindly old man playing with puppies. I love any time they would show him without the make up. In one of the commentaries Graham Linehan said nobody would sit with Frank Kelly at lunch because he looked too disgusting in the make up!
