Why did they always pick on Kevin?

He was my favorite part of the show. In fact I have the guy who played him (Kevin Kopelow) in my friends list and even chatted with him a few times years ago.

All he wanted to do was remind them that the show started in 5 minutes.

Agreed, I feel like they picked on him for no transparent reason.

I guess Kevin was supposed to be a 'dork' or a 'goof' or maybe they picked on him because he was kind of gruff? I don't know...
