Do you think William Shatner would have been better in this role?

Nicholson is a good choice too, but he is kind of an obvious choice, where as someone like Shatner, you wouldn't expect, and therefore be pleasantly surprised, which is the advantage of casting an actor you wouldn't expect.

What do you think?

Yeah, I'd have cast Pee-wee Herman as Abraham Lincoln instead of Daniel Day-Lewis. It would have been better because it would have been unexpected.

What a odd idea to do a bad casting just because it would be surprising.

When I think of a wolf ... I don't think of fat and bold and and over-talking ham.

But Shatner would have been perfect for the movie "Blimp"!
