this movie is amazing to watch today. looks incredible by today's standards, was there blue screen for this? even the stunts seem impossible to perform, what about the guy who gets his face smashed into a toilet, TWICE in the same shot?
I dunno, they better put that bluray and making off out sometime soon because I have a thousand questions about this film. absolutely stunning.
The urinals were made of foam rubber, that's why they could do it. The film has great action all around, Arnie was in his prime. I doubt there will ever be a special edition, the whole terrorist angle is no longer a laughing matter.
shareThere were plenty of practical-effect shots on location. CGI was available but not fully viable as it is today, not even for Cameron. The Harrier, the limo chase, etc, weren't done wholly by computer. Plus in the early 1990s Cameron and Speilberg were 5-6 years ahead of any other director.
