Is that the wrong poster for the movie? I used to own a version of this when I was younger and Thumbelina looked nothing like in that poster, but I cant find a closer version on IMDb.

Yes; this is most likely taken from a five dollar "rip off" DTV release.
You know, those videos that go for cheap at Wal-Mart that look kind of like the Disney stuff but it isn't in any way shape or form?

Thumbelina isn't Disney anyway. It'd be blasphemy to call it a disney film ;-)

yeah that is the wrong poster!!! I just saw the movie a couple days ago and that is deffinitly NOT the Thumbelina in the movie
