Okay I think that the Prince is COOL!!!!!!!
he's not that perfect sword and crown prince. He seems to be a bit of a rebel.
1)He rides a bumble bee and his mom hates it
2)He bails on his parents major events
3)He's 16This dude is so cool!
though i wish his attire and haircut could have been a bit more you know teenage look. maybe have long hair and his clothes a bit rebel. I mean come on his mom worries about the Court's opinnon on him.

a little leather jacket definitely wouldnt hurt....those tights he wears arent exactly vin-diesel-in-the-fast-and-the-furious-esque lol

I KNOW!!! Man,and how about longer hair? His haircut is so WEIRD!!!! Too princely. I like shaggy hair on a guy!
Okay I want to give this guy an extreme makeover!
Objectives:
A)Clothes
1) black leather jacket
2) baggy black pants
3) black/brown/white/grey shirt
4) gold earring/ diamond stud
5) black boots/sneakers

B)Hair
1)shaggy just-woke-up-look

Picture him like that! Just a bit more mideveil/fairy I think that's what the animators were going for.

I know!
I thought jim hawkins from treasure Planet was my first animated love (he's really my first hard core one)but my first EVER was Cornelius.
One of my favorite parts is when he first meets Thumbelina right before she says "Tell me about the Fairy Court" Her back is turned to him and he's sneaking up behind her trying to wrap his arms around her waist. when she turns around, he's sneaking away. I LOVE THAT!!!! So 16 year old!

^^awww i remember that part! and he keeps trying to kiss her but things keep interrupting, like the bumble bee. And then Thumbelina starts talking about the fairy prince, saying "He must be so handsome!" and prince cornelius was like "oo, he is!" hehe so cute

Another funny part is at the wedding. They have the coach waiting for them and he whistles for Buzz right when they're at the carriage.

I so agree!!!!!! And I was 4!!Cornelius is awesome!!! That is my favorite part too! They only met like what 20 seconds ago!!! It's really cute!!

If you look at the original movie poster, Cornelius looks kinda the same, but kinda different. Like, his hair IS sort of messier. And I'm pretty sure leather jackets weren't even INVENTED, let alone fashionable, a couple of hundred yearas ago. But maybe if he went for slightly darker clother, like his purple tights at the wedding. Now THAT'S a little more cool!

even if he is rebel, dont you think that long shaggy hair and biker gear would look really stupid on a FAIRY PRINCE

and i think his parents were trying to make him gay...you know, with the whole ridin in a basket carried by a butterfly. they could've at least made it a manly buterfly.

i didn't mean modern biker clothes but i wish he didn't wear the tights and stuff.

plus i don't think they wanted to make their son gay.If they did the wouldn't have wanted him to make "an immpression on the young ladies"

Prince Cornelious was definitely a great match for Thumbelina...she's so innocent and he's a rebel...but hey, that's just me...

I love Cornelius!!! And yes, he was totally a rebel! I do wish his clothes had been a little more edgy, but he was soooo cute as he was!

How was he supposed to get rebel clothes if the timeline didn't look like they even invented at the time?

But I definetely agree that Cornelius was a rebel! The bee was like a motorcycle in the Fairy World

And I'll get him back even as he gloats. In the meantime, I'll practice on less honerable throats!
