Scary scene - prince frozen in the lake!!

It's so strange looking back on it now, but the scene where Prince Cornelius becomes frozen in ice scared the hell out of me when I was younger!! Did it frighten anyone else?

This was the second movie I ever saw at the cinemas and I would have watched it on VHS no less than twenty times, so I'll always have fond memories of this film. But I will never forget being four years old, at the movies, and turning away in fright when I first saw this scene. Everytime I watched it on video, I would have to run out of the room and let my mother or sister tell me when it was over. It messed me up, lol.

Nope, that scene never had too strong of an effect on me, but I understand how you felt because other scenes from other films did (such as The Brave Little Toaster, Snow White, and Dumbo. xD) I LOVE those scenes, though! x3

I completely agree with you i also found that scene scary. I think for me it was how his body jerks into being scary.. i dunno

I watched the movie for the first time in years this morning and that part seemed totally unfamiliar to me. It must not have impacted me as a kid.
