This film is either love it or hate it. I'm another "love it." I loved it as a kid and I still love it as an adult, which isn't something I can say even about some Disney films. Thumbelina is fun, and the animation and music are beautiful. Yes I noticed everything other people are complaining about, and one other thing nobody mentioned. I never understood why Jodi Benson, who has a great voice spoke in the baby voice she did in this film. My only guess would be that Disney "owned" her voice, after The Little Mermaid came out. Anyway, life is too short to be nitpicky about a movie.

Thumbelina is basically a baby. She was like a week old when she got kidnapped ?

Why do you think Thumbelina sounds like a baby? She sounds perfectly mature to me. Just asking.

Anyway, I agree with you; I also loved it as a kid and still do as an adult.
