A very dangerous mistake that could have caused the bus to blow up

When Jack threw the bomb on bus note, this would have caused the bus to blow up because the driver would have instinctively stopped the bus or at least slowed down. He should have wrote stay above 50 miles or a bomb on the bus will explode. Stay above 50. This is what he should have wrote.

The driver did start to slow down. When Jack realized they were already going too fast, Jack pulled up next to him and told him to get above 50.

reply

Yes. That's why I said that the first thing Jack should have wrote was to stay above 50.

reply

I thought that myself. It should have simply said: "Stay above 50. Bomb on bus".

reply

That's exactly what I said. Exactly what I said. I mean just saying bomb on bus would have caused the driver to instinctively slow down and then boom.

reply

I shortened what you said. It was too long for a piece of paper.

reply

Yes, I've always thought that as well. The driver even starts slowing down after he sees the note. By the time Jack notices, the bus should already have blown up.

reply

Jack didn't know they were already above 50 mph when he was instructing the guy to write a note. He only realized that after the driver saw the note.

Would have been even more entertaining if TUNEMAN would have spelled "bomb" like "bom" in The Last Boy Scout and Canoe Reeves would have told him that "bom" means "fuck you" in Polish.
