Who'd be good casting for a reboot?

Karl Urban? Jon Hamm?

reply

Adrien Brody

reply

Is he even a draw anymore though?

reply

Dunno, but he's got the nose like the Shadow had on all the pulp magazine covers.

reply

What about Tom Hiddleston or Benedict Cumberbatch

reply

Cumberbatch could work.

reply

I think Hiddleston has the right look.

reply

This would have been cool , your right he does have the nose

reply

No reboot...make a part two.

reply

With chubby Alec Baldwin.

reply

Nope. Mark Strong

reply

Chris Pine.

reply

Somebody with a strong nose and sinister voice

reply

Mark Strong it is then.

reply

Hey! I agree with that! Mark Strong would be great!

reply

Yes, excellent choice.

reply

Much as I love me some Mark Strong, I think he'd be a great Shadow but not such a good Lamont Cranston (basically the model for Bruce Wayne)

Alec Baldwin, 25 years ago, was perfect IMHO, but only because they altered his look so much when he turned into the Shadow (though I thought the makeup left something to be desired)

reply

I think Ryan Gosling could pull it off

reply

Too conventionally handsome. It needs to be someone with a hawkish nose and sinister eyes like on the old Shadow pulp magazine covers.

reply

John Hawkes?

reply

Perhaps.

reply

It doesn't need a reboot. Alec Baldwin is old, for sure but he still can play The Shadow and should do a sequel, taking complete control of how the film is done.

reply

Liam Neeson

reply

Good choice, whoever this was, except he's too old now.
