This movie is a blast!
It's on one of the mesothelioma channels. I'd forgotten what fun it is!

shareIt IS great fun, which is why it’s in my library. I love the era, I love the Tibetan mysticism, I’ve always thought John Lone (Year of the Dragon) was an underappreciated talent, I love Jonathan Winters, and I especially love Penelope Ann Miller looking as good here as she did in Carltio’s Way, which means, to me, you know—yum!, because she has style and a brain to go with everything else. A dame can be slinky and classy at the same time. My only sadness: the film is only available in 4:3 aspect ratio on disc. I can zoom it with my video processor to fill my 16:9 display, so it’s not the end of the world. The Shadow, who in fact knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men, sits on the library shelf next to The Phantom and The Spirit, all of which sit next to my Indiana Jones and (Brendan Fraser) Mummy collections. Well-paced, well-edited, very good-to-excellent production values, rousing good fun, and evocative of times and places worth romanticizing, all of them.
shareThe blu-ray is in proper aspect ratio. But be sure to get the one from Shout Factory, even though it costs more. It has a really nice transfer.
