Unmasking the reason there was no Shadow II
The superhero movies that I've enjoyed watching more than once have masks that make them totally unrecognizable.
Unlike the Superman series that didn't even try to have us believe that Superman could be a "real" superhero, (nobody could ever figure out that Clark Kent was Superman because of his glasses, a hairstyle, & a caped leotard, right? to POOF! ... yeah, THAT was a tough guy to spot ), the Shadow was written having characters with IQs higher than potatoes.
Because of that, they failed by not having the Shadow's face as the black/silver mask with intense, fluorescent green eyes (like on the poster) instead of the odd, fleshlike mask with black eyes.
In spite of that, I still would have enjoyed seeing at least a Shadow II ...
But then again, how could there have been a Shadow II?
It's impossible to create a shadow from a shadow, isn't it?
