Anybody know how to use Blender

I promise this is Shadow related.

So I've been rather fond of the Shadow radio show for about seven years now (give or take) since I was given my first set of tapes.

Rumor has it that there were plans for an animated Shadow series if this movie had done better at the box office, and for the last few years, I've been thinking of doing my own animated series using the radio shows as the soundtrack.

I downloaded the freeware 3D Animation software Blender, as I've seen some rather impressive work done with it. But I don't even know where to start right now. Anybody do any work with Blender? Or know a place for some good, and easy to follow tutorials? Then we can all enjoy a (hopefully) enjoyable, free animated series of the Shadow.
