It's a rumor. This project is Sam Raimi's baby, so talk of Tarentino directing and writing is just that. I'm very glad too. While I hope for noir visual elements, The Shadow ought be suspenseful drama, not a violence fest as Tarentino seems to love doing with all his films.

I hope you are right. I like Tarantino (mostly), but I would rather see Raimi directing this project.
