Laserdisc The only way to watch this film

Okay the only way to watch this film is to get the laser disc. The only way to get its brilliancy. The movie is basically bluray on laser disc. Its much better, it widescreen, it looks perfect, and it sounds terrific. I just finished the fullscreen dvd and its a major drop off in quality. Even the story doesnt have the same ring to it. Im sure this goes for a lot of movies but there is just so much more detail, vividly, and richness to it by watching the laserdisc version. Makes me want to get more movies on laser disc that they havent mastered on other versions even on bluray. Great great film that shouldnt be remade.
