Steve Nebraska is the greatest

12 years from when this movie was made (todays date), Steve would have had a record of 384-0 with 3,456 innings pitched and 10,368 K's. Hall of fame? I think so. He also would have had 7,776 home runs (4 ab's a game) with just as many rbi's and more. He is my hero.

Yankees signed him for 4 years for $56 million, Thats $14 million a year and the remaining 8 years of his career he would be getting A Rod salary of $25 million or more. So steve would be worth at least $256 million before endorsements!!!

Al Percolo, his "agent" gets 10%. Al is now worth at least $25.6 million. Good thing GM Ron Wilson fired him, right? If they kept Al as thier scout, they could have signed Steve to something like $500,000 a year contract for the first few years. Steinbrenner should have fired Ron.

I just saw the movie (for the 5th time) and had a calculator nearby so I had to do the numbers, lol.

Man a player putting up those kind of numbers would make way more then A-rods measely 25 mil. They would put almost their entire team salary budget towards him and sign complete scrubs making the league minimum and you would still win. Hell you could put 8 random fans on the field every night next to that guy and still win.

And when he started getting over the hill he could hit the juice and put up even bigger numbers like bonds.
