Rated R/18?
One of the reasons this film did so badly was probably that it was a rated R in the US and 18 in the UK. However it's difficult to see why it has such a high rating, especially when compared to stuff like Hostel or the Saw movies.
Maybe Yoghurt enemas proved a little too shocking for the censors back then.
