Why so expensive?

I was thinking about this movie this morning, and went to Netflix to look it up. Alas, it's not available. I checked Amazon and it turns out that you can buy the movie, but a new DVD costs ~$100 US, and a new VHS tape costs about $35 US.

Why so expensive when this movie came out in 1994? I suppose I could buy a used videotape, but STILL...

Maybe they were sued by the Kelloggs people?

It could be out-of-print hence the higher price.

it's all there and doesn't cost a thing.

If you can live with Spanish-language menus, you may be able to find a used DVD on eBay for about $25.

That shocked me, too. I used see the DVD everywhere. At one time you couldn't give it away, and that's no exaggeration. On the swapadvd site there are 48 members on the wish list and none available.
