You who understood this genius satire, what ought to be the true rating?

It's so easy to understand, with the movie comedic-ally portraying and revealing some of the aspects of life which we hide and fail to examine, how this film brings out facets of life that we tend to hide, that so many dismiss it as awful. The prudes despise it for its attack on common sensibilities, the Christians abhor it for its non-family friendly immodesty and pornography, the embarrassed gentlefolk couldn't bear its intensity, the intellectuals can't interpret its baseness and crudeness, the simple can't perceive its depth and complexity, the funny-bones can't catch a joke for its dark humor and twisted satire, the nobility cannot bear with its folly. It is a Shakespearean comedy of errors, a caricature of human personas, and a drama about the failure to simply love, love being the health potion that cures all. A lot of genius went into this movie. Not for the faint of heart but for those who wish to get a lot out of reflections on the human person.

I give it 8/10. Loved it since I first saw it on the big screen
