Roarke was annoying, I was kind of glad when Wade slapped him.

lol maybe his character was a little annoying but Joseph Mazzello is a great actor

He's okay-ish, but the whole "little anorexic precocious boy" act wore thin pretty quick in the nineties.

When you're 17 a cow can seem dangerous and forbidden...am I alone here?

agreed...i dont so much like little kids in films....I find them annoying or somewhat strangly embarassing.

Plus if you think about it....this whole thing was kind of his fault....The way he latched on to wade at the beginning...Didn't anyone ever tell him not to talk to strangers?? Giving all that personal information! Sheesh!

I finally saw this movie & loved it, but that kid needed more than a slap. GEEZ. What kid would go off with those two sleezy-type criminals, no questions asked.? Just not realistic. And Curtis Hanson seemed to try to make him brainy.
