Was David Gallagher better or worse after he replaced Macualy Culkin? (Can't spell his name... sorry to all the Macualy lovers.)

theres no doubt thta david gallagher was great for the sequal, but i would have rather seen macauly in the sequal if it had been age appropriate. I think he was better because he was the original, but david gallagher was good
