Well, I'm not a Gen-Xer, but I identified with Michael in that I am serious, admittedly un-hip, and suffer from nice guy syndrome. Also, I couldn't stand Troy and wanted to know what his glitch was.

I am Michael Grates according to the quiz, I'm a gen-Xer, and I would have given that answer anyway. Not every person in Generation X sees having a good career, an office, and wearing a tie to work as "selling out".

Troy Dyer!

He has the same attitudes towards life that I have and many other of us long-suffering Gen. X males have!

I have also had numerous crumby jobs just like him, in fact I am stuck in another one right now!
