has anyone found a decent (at least semi-official) DVD release of this movie in NTSC format?

i have two original VHS tapes with different box artwork, but would still prefer a nice DVD release.

this is a great film. . . definitely in my top 10.
it find it very interesting that an 'interview' could be such an isolating and introspective experience. the scene with the bag of photographs hits me very hard. the whole film is overwhelmingly beautiful/depressing. .

now that i've found it- the soundtrack CD is quite a moving experience on its own. for anyone who is in love with the movie, i definitely recommend that you pick up Ennio Morricone's beautiful compositions on the soundtrack CD (it is just a few dollars on ebay). . Depardieu's singing is fantastic (he also appears on Hector Zazou's Sahara Blue album, by the way).

That DVD, although in NTSC format, is listed as a Region 2 disc.
So, I don't know why it is linked as a US version on IMDB.

I guess I'll keep waiting. .
