Winston Wolfs introduction
It looks like he's at some kind of dinner part. It's what, about 8 in the morning? Have the guests been partying since the night before? It doesn't seem like that kind of party.

sharePossibly supervising some all night illegal gambling in a private home or hotel?
"Chicken soup - with a *beep* straw."
Yeh I just noticed for the first time he was at some sort of black tie affair before 8 in the morning!
And why were all those guys eating Kahuna burgers and fries at 7:30?
Funny I never noticed any of that before as I know I've seen the movie at least a dozen times.
At least the timeline makes sense again when he goes out to lunch with Julia Sweeney.
Really? I understand the not thinking of where the Wolf was at but how could you forget Samuel L. Jackson loudly saying, "Cheeseburgers! The cornerstone of any nutricious breakfast!"
shareHaha yes I thought the same. super early those party animals !
shareHe's at a secret casino in the penthouse of a hotel. You can hear a dealer calling roulette in the background.
Jules even jokingly calls Big Kahuna burger "The breakfast of champions!". Bunch of 20 year old guys living in a crappy apartment wouldn't be that much of a stretch to be eating fast food burgers at 7:30 in the morning.
From Tarantino's original screenplay-

fancy evening gowns. The CAMERA PANS to the right revealing:
Sitting on a bed, phone in hand with his back to us, the
