Keaton's rant
the rant on the phone to the editor of the Sentinel is classic!
he tunrs into Beetlejuice again for 10 seconds, the satisfaction on his face at the end of it is hilarious.
brilliant.

haha yeah it was unforgettable. One of my favorite scenes from the movie.
sharei always have to watch this scene about five times before i can go on with the film. one of my favorite films.
"Ah, ya's fancy pants, alla ya's"
"Leave the gun. Take the cannoli."
This is why I just got on for this movie and am watching right now on cable HBOSIG. This is why the rating went higher. But, its Fuxxing perfect script writing. I mean how much more could any human being take at that precise moment. Excellent, beyond belief. Hats off the Opie (Ron Howard). I think this movie is really really good.
shareWhat about in the cop bathroom when he loses it, that is so awesome, the whole scene, Randy Quaid handles him, pitch perfect as always. The way they play the cop, two of them together, what pros.
shareI love that scene too and as a journalist I can tell you that clipboard thing used to work, before the security clampdowns of course. I have to say I love the rant on the phone though. 'I don't live in the world, I live in New York City' is one of my favourite lines ever. I don't live there but when I'm there I love the energy of the place and, against all the criticism, I find it really friendly. Brilliant movie. Unfortunately, you can't feel those presses running under the newsroom anymore, shame that.
