seriously how could you say this film is bad? is it just a hatred of all things Culkin I wonder? anyway this is a childhood favorite of mine and its a shame its kind of forgotten

I love all the Culkin brothers, I was really suprised at the low rating too. I love this film.
sharei agree this movie was great when i was a child. it really got my imagination going at the very least this movie should get a 6.5.

No matter what the components are to this film, it's awesome for kids. It captured my imagination so amazingly when I was about eight and although I haven't seen it since then, I love it just for the way it sucked me in.

its moved to a 4.7 in the last two and a half years or so. way to get the ball rolling.
i too loved this movie as a kid and i proudly purchased it a number of years back (in the $5 bin at wal-mart nonetheless. would have paid full price for it but i cant pass up a deal like that. hah).
also a mention of my liking for the culkins seems necessary.

I didn't like it... I can't recall the whole movie, just the beginning. Perhaps it just frightened me more than anything but I don't look back on it with fond memories.

It's 4.8 now, but still I think this movie is terrific and seriously underrated. I have no problem with anyone who doesn't like it, it is their opinion, but I personally love this movie.
For me, the low quality animation pushed it way down. I would call it a decent movie, but nowhere near greatness.

I like it now just as much as when I was a kid. The point was for a young boy to conquer his fears and I think that's a good message. I pretty much like every movie now that I liked as a kid.

Thankfully we've gotten it up to a 5.2 by now(still ought to be higher), but really, the low rating is meaningless. This is obviously an awesome and inspirational film to countless people like us, as children and years later, and it'll always be a 10 in my books.
