The luminous Bonnie Hunt totally STOLE this movie. Not only did she look absolutely smashing..but she was funny and sweet and just so cutely uncomfortable with the amorous Giovanni. I really did like this movie (I know total chick flick, but who cares)...but Bonnie was the real star. Marissa Tomei was kind of whiney.
shareI would have to agree. And Joaquim de Alameida was totally YUMMY in this movie. I would've loved more scenes with the 2 of them. And yes, Faith's character was kind of annoying and whiney.
Bonnie Hunt *usually* steals the scenes she's in cuz she's just so fabulous. She is funny and beautiful but also has real acting chops.

ya I agree, they two supplied the movie with the reality, because their affair went down and she finally accepted her unattractive, but clever hubbie - this is the bitter issue of the whole thing (and that is the question: better to be sensuously feeded with biscuits by the romantic gentleman than to stay with a good hard working man?)

shareYeah, I am not normally a fan of Bonnie Hunt's but she really impressed me in this movie. I was pleasantly surprised. I wonder if Marisa Tomei has ever been on her talk show. I would love to see them reunite.

Agreed. She was way too good for that tool of a husband. Bonnie Hunt's great in everything she does.
