How'd they know the first hotel?

When Faith and Kate arrive in Italy, they go to a hotel and ask for Damon Bradley.

How did they know he was registered at that hotel? The only information we have is that he said he was flying to Venice.

Just looked again--when they're about to leave, Faith says that since Venice is small, it only has six hotels, and while she was waiting for Kate, she called around until she found the one he was staying at.

Most tourists used to stay on the mainland and visit Venice during the day. Very few actually stayed there overnight.

Actually she said something like "I had to call only 6 Hotels till i found him."
