When they got to Rome and Kate makes a wish in the fountain outside their hotel, she says it's the Trevi Fountain. Maybe I heard her wrong, but I know for a fact that wasn't the Trevi Fountain. Did anyone else catch this or am I losing my mind?
shareI think she's merely referencing the Trevi Fountain. Throwing coins in the actual Trevi Fountain is a ritual. Throwing a coin in the fountain means you'll return one day.
shareMy impression was that since Kate had never been to Rome, she didn't know the Trevi fountain from any other fountain, and assumed this was the Trevi fountain. Just a ditzy moment.
