RDJ and Marisa Tomei really had an affair

According to a book that I purchased called Hollywood Nights the director states that RDJ and Tomei had an on set affair, which was great for the film because of the chemistry between the two.

However, RDJ was married and had a small child at home so he (Jewison) tried to keep the two of them apart, which didn't work. Their affair ended by the time the premiere happened and then RDJ had to be forced to attend the premiere by Jewison.

I bought the book in the discount bin at the big theater at the end of Sunset, I can't remember the name. It is full of all kinds of inside info. It was presented by Bravo Films, it's called Bravo Films/Wild Nights/25 Yrs of Hollywood Festivals

its about Cannes, Sundance etc

I thought their onscreen chemistry in this film was very strong and I guess that explains why.

I THOUGHT that kissing scene looked way too hot to be just a piece of the script!

Sort of like the Brad/Angelina love scene in Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

You can't just "act" to conjure up passion like THAT!

They're both great actors, but I agree. I'm not surprised at all to hear this. I wonder if he had an affair with Heather Graham as well when they did Two Girls and a Guy. There was similar chemistry between those two.

That doesn't make sense. He and Marissa had already been in a movie together and you would think the affair would have started then.

If that were true, wouldn't it be common knowledge? Especially since RDJ is a big celebrity now, you'd think it would be constantly brought up, but I haven't heard a thing about it. Also I really don't want to believe he's that kind of guy.

I only do it with superheroes.

Hate to tear down your dreams of the sexy RDJ but he has openly admitted to having affairs with a lot of his co-workers. Let's not forget he was also heavy into drugs during that time and really not caring much about anything.
