A glorious, romantic slushfest.

And the second one of my top romcoms to star the wonderful Marisa.

Great acting, witty dialogue and to-die-for Italian scenery. What more could a hopeless (hopeful) romantic ask for?

I liked it too! Robert Downey Jr should do more romance films. He is so cute! And sweet. He loves Faith so much he would do anything for her. And Marisa shines in the lead. They are such a cute movie couple!

I saw this movie back in 1996 and remember that it was a sweet romantic comedy.

Downey Junior has unfulfilled potential (drugs ruined him) and Tomei is just one gorgeous woman who has got better with age. She is beautiful in this movie.

Yes this is a great film. There's something that sets it apart from the usual run of the mill romantic comedies that Hollywood usually offers up. The performances are great (Billy Zane is very funny) but I think what really made it for me was the music. Rachel Porter's soundtrack is amazing and captures the mood of the film perfectly.

... Look out for my review soon - but I'll save you some of the suspense; I enjoyed it. 7/10. Which is your other Marisa romcom, then? This one just made me even more of a fan of Robert Downey, Jr's talents... !

Funny how we [hopeless] romantics stick together, innit?!

Yep, great film. Beautiful scenery. I wanna be in Italy for Christsake!

This is just a guess, but I bet the original poster's no.1 romantic Marisa film is "Untamed Heart". Now, that's fantastic! You think Marisa and Robert have chemistry in this?! Pah! Watch "Untamed Heart"!

I'm sitting watching this film on a very rainy and dull bank holiday in Scotland, and it has brightened up my day.
The scenery, music etc are great and really make you feel like you are in Italy! The story is good too, pure escapism.
I haven't wathced this film for years but now i remeber why i loved it so much.

I love Untamed Heart. I am not a fan of Christian Slater, usually I give his movies a wide berth, but I cried buckets over that movie.

Marisa Tomei is also fantastic in My Cousin Vinny. I wish she'd do more movies.

The Italian scenery was great. It kept me involved in the film during some of the slushy moments. Some good dialogue in it, it's true.
