how does the other bad guy die?

I watched almost the whole movie but missed what happened to Macgruder (john c. mcginley). Can someone let me know how he died? thanks in advance.

He tries to flee in a chopper, then turns around to find Seagal, who he tries to kill. Beside the chopper, Seagal breaks his arm and then hurls his face into the tail of it.

reply

That's right...he eats the tail rotor!

"Economy or style? Style!"

reply

And then, for some reason, Seagal felt that he needed to kill off Michael Caine's innocent secretary in a very poorly-concieved, graphic and violent manner. I actually felt very bad for her. But, oddly, not for Seagal's old friend that got tortured by John C. McGinley. Afterall, there is no "I" in "team"...

I love ODG.

Forgiveness is between them and God. It's my job to arrange the meeting

He doesn't kill her, she crashed in gas tank and her car exploded. It was accident.

Poorly-conceived, graphic and violent yes... but innocent? She was in on everything as lead council and had a delightful scene offering to cut "overly generous" death benefits to widows...

And you want to know the strange thing? I could swear that there was a reference to, of all things, Battleship Potemkin, when you see the glasses fall after the blood. I haven't seen Potemkin in a while, but I remember that one moment fairly well.

reply

There's also a somewhat similar moment featuring Tom Courtenay's glasses in 'Doctor Zhivago.' No helicopter blades, though, so it's obviously not as good...
