Who doesn't enjoy brainless action films every once in a while?

Meaning: one guy takes on 10 guys at one time & wins.
Every once in a while these types of films r great!
Anybody agree with me???

Yes but this movie takes too many liberties with over-the-top nonsense. I always find myself watching 'Bloodsport', or "Lionheart' or 'Marked for Death'. But this (and Fire Down Below) are just too much.

This film is not simply a mindless action film. This is supposedly an environmental thriller that had a message somewhere, but the message was pretty much trampled by the fact that Steven Seagal's character demostates that he isn't that much better than his enemies such as using rather sadistic force than necessary to kill the bad guys to even blowing up an entire oil rig (which would most likely cause more harm to the environment than just letting it run on its own), which is probably the reason why you misinterpret this as a "mindless action film."

Honestly, this is Under Siege 3. Lee Emery's speech about Forrest Taft being left alone in Antartica and being in your house the next day was basically describing Casey F@cking Ryback.

John C. McGinley, Lee Emery, Billy Bob Thorton and Michael Caine all hamming it up in the same movie? YES!

I love me some dumb action movies. On Deadly Ground is Top 5 for Seagal (which isn't saying much).

Under Siege
Above the Law
Under Siege 2
On Deadly Ground
The Glimmer Man

No f@cking sh`t lady does it sound like I'm ordering a pizza!
